ABOUT DON VICENTE CACERES

Professor Don Vicente Caceres is the grandfather of Mr. Juan F. Gonzalez.  He was born on October 27th, 1882 in Minas De Horo, Honduras.  When he was very young, his mother moved to Tegucigalpa, the capital of Honduras, so he could have a better education.  But had to move back to Minas De Horo, where they owned a modest shoe shop.  As he got older, he would learn the trade of a shoemaker.  He would finally graduate from High School and College to become a teacher.  Prof. Vicente Cáceres, not only professional but also political and social, stood out in public life, highlighting his unquestionable ability as a teacher, parliamentarian, speaker, and writer.  In the National Congress he had a brilliant performance defending the just causes, his arguments were devastating and convincing.
